All SIM4 routers should use firmware 2.1.8 or later for all providers
(if you have any issues with disconnect, it is recommended to use this firmware 2.1.8 or later firmware, read below on how to update)

For SIM3, you should use firmware 1.9.9std

Note if you are using a SIM4 with Sprint with an iSIM, you should be on firmware 2.3.4 or later

If you are on a Sprint Unlimited Plan, you should install the Sprint Unlimited firmware below, currently 3.9.6GENERIC firmware

This generic firmware will work on all providers.
If you are using Sprint without an iSIM, you will need to use this firmware
You can take your Sprint SIM card out of your hotspot or usb modem and put direct in the MOFI router. No need to call or do anything for the activation.

If you want to use Verizon paid service, suggest you use this Generic firmware

Note that the the Verizon Pre Paid sim should be activated with a Verizon mifi hotspot (suggest you get the $50 hotspot when you order the prepaid service)
After it is activated, you can then take the sim card out and use it with this generic firmware

Load this firmware. You can follow the steps above as they are the same but you should make sure you have correct firmware 3.9.6GENERIC

note that after loaded this firmware, you should do the following:

1. reset the sierra module

2. do a factory default

3. go to mofi internal modem then provider selector and make sure the mofi mode is on default mode and the detected firmware is on generic.

here is the generic firmware

This is used for Sprint customer that has their sim card in a hotspot prior and for Verizon pre paid customers
