MOFI4500-4GXeLTE-V2 Download

MOFI4500-4GXeLTE V2 Download Section:

Important Notes:

If you have the basic MOFI4500-4GXeLTE V2 and use a USB modem/hotspot, you should use firmware 1.9.8.8
For iPhone USB Tethering, you will also need 1.9.8.8

For Android USB Tethering, you can use firmware 2.1.8std or later

All SIM2, SIM3 and SIM4 routers should use firmware 2.1.8 or later for all providers
(if you have any issues with disconnect, it is recommended to use this firmware 2.1.8 or later firmware, read below on how to update)

If you are using a cell phone plan that supposed to work in a cell phone, they are not meant to work in our router since our router is a data only device.
We are aware that many customers have been doing this as it saves on cost but the providers want to block this so even if it does work, we recommend you look for a data only service so you will not get cut off if the providers chooses to do so.
Recently, all of SIMPLE MOBILE customers that are not using a cell phone go cut off after many months of use.
This can happen with any other provider, just depends on when the providers wants to stop the use on the cell phone.

T-Mobile are also throttling uses that are not on a hotspot plan and using the cell phone plan in our router and many others.
As such, if you are finding your speeds are slow, make sure that your plan works with a hotspot.

If your plan is allowed to work in a hotspot, it will be allowed to work in our router. If they say it is only meant to work in a cell phone, we do no recommend you use it in our router due to what is listed above.

Note if you are using a SIM4 with Sprint, you should be on firmware 2.3.4 or later

Firmware 2.7.2std does not currently support any USB modems or hotspot at this time so if you need this, use firmware 1.9.8.8. This support will be add soon.
For tethering, firmware 2.1.8 or later does support Android USB tethering.

If your router does not have the power light on after 1 minute for many reasons, you can use this recovery file to bring your unit back up

MOFI RECOVERY INSTRUCTIONS:
